PTFE convoluted hoses are a better alternative to graphite, ceramic, glass pipes with lower mechanical strength. It can be used as feed and discharge hose for tank cars, storage tanks, containers and reactors.
They have the advantages of dislocation connection, balancing pipeline displacement and size change, and eliminating high-frequency mechanical vibration.
Generally, our PTFE convoluted hoses can be connected through flanges, threads, quick camlock connectors, or direct connection, and fixed by clamp or wire.
Our PTFE convoluted hoses can be customized in various sizes, shapes, colors, and end fittings. Additionally, they can be reinforced with braids to enhance their mechanical strength and pressure resistance.

Reinforced PTFE Convoluted Hose
Our reinforced PTFE convoluted hoses are designed to withstand higher pressures and provide enhanced strength compared to non-reinforced hoses. The reinforcement typically consists of one or more layers of stainless steel wire or braid, which adds strength and stability to the hose structure.
Stainless Steel Braided
PTFE convoluted hoses can be reinforced with one or multiple layers of stainless steel braids. These braids provide added strength and support to the convoluted hose, allowing it to withstand higher pressures and prevent kinking or collapse.
Aramid Fiber Braided
Aramid fibers, such as Kevlar, are another popular reinforcement option for PTFE convoluted hoses. Lightweight Aramid reinforcement offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, abrasion and impact resistance, and high temperature resistance.
Polypropylene Braided
Polypropylene is a thermoplastic material known for its chemical resistance and flexibility. This braid helps prevent the convoluted hose from expanding under pressure. However, it is not as strong as stainless steel and has lower pressure ratings.

FAQs of PTFE Convoluted Hose
How is your PTFE convoluted hose manufactured?
Our PTFE convoluted hoses are typically manufactured through a process called cold extrusion. PTFE resin is forced through a mandrel with a convoluted shape to create the inner tube’s corrugated structure.
What are the available sizes and pressure ratings of your PTFE convoluted hoses?
Length: Generally 1-6 meters, and can also be customized according to customer requirements.
Outer diameter: 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm, 38mm, 60mm or 1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″, and 1″.
Pressure ratings: Our PTFE convoluted hose can generally withstand pressures up to 16MPa (160 bar), and higher pressure ratings are also available.
How can your PTFE convoluted hose be connected with?
Our PTFE convoluted hose can be connected through threaded connections, flanged connections, welded or chemically bonded.
What is the length of a roll of your PTFE convoluted hoses? Can the corresponding length be divided according to our demand?
The regular length of a roll is 24 meters, and it can be divided into different lengths according to your needs. The size of each roll is different, and the packaging and express costs are also different.
Do you have stock samples? And how to get them?
Yes, we have a large inventory of PTFE convoluted hose in our warehouse, sample orders are free and only take 5~7 days leading time for a quick quality check.
What are your payment terms?
- For sample orders, Paypal or T/T 100% as a deposit.
- For bulk orders, we request 30% by T/T in advance, the balance to be paid before shipment.
